Polderplaats

The old village of Wulpen is surrounded by vast polder landscape. In a meadow behind the church 14 houses for young families will be built. A loose arrangement of dwellings seeks to define a new soft edge for the village, allowing the landscape to enter the village and vice versa.

The lightweight houses are oriented sideways and are accessed through long and narrow gardens, reducing the need for fences. Living rooms on the first floor offer generous views over the polder.
